Workshop Please note: to attend, your registration must include Workshops.

Advances in JavaScript have pushed the boundaries of web applications and allowed business to exist solely on the web. Much of the excitement around HTML5 is actually due to JavaScript, and there is ripe opportunity for companies and technologists to re-examine their business use of this language.

The Business of JavaScript is an all-day program taking place on the first day of Fluent Conference, bringing together members of the business community, CTOs, industry experts, and JavaScript developers. We’ll examine how JavaScript and its related technologies are relevant in companies of all sizes, from one-man shops to international media companies.

The Business of JavaScript is for managers, analysts, entrepreneurs, investors, and developers with an interest in JavaScript and JavaScript-powered businesses.

Program topics include:
  • Case studies of businesses using JavaScript
  • The role of JavaScript as a replacement for other technologies
  • JavaScript’s role on mobile platforms
  • How to hire and find JavaScript talent
